The final results of our last opinion poll seem to be quite conclusive. A whopping 72% of you want Andrew to return and finish Episode 6 of the SUPERHEROES web series. Additionally, one of our viewers decided to start a Facebook group in support of the final episode. But there’s a difference between desire and reality. Ultimately it’ll be Andrew’s decision on whether or not to come back. I’ll try to get an answer out of him soon. Regardless of what happens, everything we’ve shot to date will be released. So stay tuned to this site for future updates! ALSO check out our new poll on the right.
Over a year ago, in preparation for the SUPERHEROES DVD release, I went back and made several re-edits and tweaks. Most of the work went into cleaning up the audio (remember that we shot most of SUPERHEROES with a crappy camera-mounted shotgun mic, thus there was a lot of handling noise). However, there were some slight picture edits; such as swapping takes or adding shots and extra audio.
Sadly, as I noted in one of my previous posts, all my materials for the SUPERHEROES DVD were lost in a hard drive crash (not to mention the master copies of pretty much all my other films). So you’d think this stuff would never, and could never, be seen. WRONG. (more…)

Here’s one for the SUPERHEROES fans. Before there was Episode 1 there was QPAHGRPF (Quaylar Peter and His Gamma Radiation Producing Fridge), a short film Jared and I made for one of Chad Peter’s NP2k.com contests. We ended up taking 1st place. After the contest Chad decided to launch NP2k TV and we partnered to produce SUPERHEROES as an ongoing series. NP2k TV fell through before we even completed our first episode, but, as you all know, we didn’t let that stop us from finishing the whole series! Watch QPAHGRPF after the jump! (more…)
