Of Mice and Journeymen
Alright, yeah, that headline sucks. I apologize. Anyway, I attempted to catch a free screening of “Hitman” at FOX tonight. But things didn’t quite work out. I arrived two minutes late to find a total of four people in the theatre and no movie playing. I waited around for a little bit, then decided to just walk back to my building. When I arrived I noticed the only entrance had been completely taken over by the “Journeyman” crew. So I sat down on a bench and observed the shoot for about 30 minutes. I quickly spotted Kevin McKidd and the series director/exec producer Alex Graves. It was actually quite fun watching, despite not having a jacket and it being ridiculously cold outside. In fact, a cute AD (or maybe she was a PA, or… just… someone who was wearing a headset and radio) approached me and asked how I could stand not having a jacket. I replied, “I dunno. I guess I’m too curious to be cold.” She smirked at my comment and asked me where I worked. I told her, and then that was pretty much it, she had to get back to work. I wish I’d been able to introduce myself or maybe talk about what she was doing on the production. Damn. A good networking opportunity wasted. Perhaps next time.
Way to go, jerkface! Opportunity lost, if not to network to freakin score, sun! Yeah, all the PA’s walking around Chandler for the Indy shoot were pretty hot. Guess that’s the way Harrison rolls, huh?
All I know is that if I ever direct a big TV show or feature I’ll only hire hot PAs. But I hope other folks don’t follow that mantra. Or I’ll never ever work in this town.
Carpe diem, if not carpe the PA!
Bryan you misspelled celebrity in the tags.
BTW I don’t think she was flirting she was probably just wondering if she should kick you out or not.
Wow Toschi, you’ve come a long way. Now you’re the one pointing out other’s misspellings. And where did I say she was flirting? Additionally, she couldn’t “kick me out” of anywhere, they’re filming in front of my building on the lot! Haha
